What does the program include and what's the yearly tuitoin?
$1250 per year includes the following:
6-8 Indoor winter sessions
Spring & Summer Practices to be determined by coach
How much are tryouts?
$60 per tournament includes a tryout pinny.
Can I walkup and pay for the tryout on the day of?
Yes but the tryout fee will be $80. It is definitely preferred that you register on line so we have all your information and you don't delay the check in process.
When/where are tryouts being held and what if I can't make it?
Tryouts are taking in place at Comsewogue HS. Our schedule is posted but always subject to change based on weather or other unforseen events. We plan on adding supplemental tryout dates for those who can't make it so you can feel free to sign up even if the dates don't work. We will make EVERY effort to evaluate all players who register for Twenty2's try outs.
Twenty2 is all over Long Island. If my daughter is invited, where will the team practice?
This depends on where the coach and the majority of the players on the team live. It may be that you will have to travel a distance to get to practice. Twenty2 has been able to secure prime field space all over Long Island and we plan to balance where we practice accordingly. If we invite your daughter, we will let you know where teams events for the most part will be scheduled.
Where is the indoor session held and how many sessions will it be?
We are planing between 6-8; one hour indoor sessions. The indoor facility will be close to where the majority of the players/coach live.
How many coaches will each team have?
We are a new program but our goal is to have at least 2 dedicated coaches per team. Our head coaches are in charge of selecting their assistant coaches according to the needs of the team. Our coaching team works closely together to ensure practices and tournaments are well staffed. You can expect to see a variety of coaches helping your daughter and the team get better.
Does 22Lax use parent coaches?
We employ the best coach we can for the team whether its a parent or not. Most of our coaches do not have children in the program but we have no objection if a mom or dad is a head coaching, assistant coach or helping out on any Twenty4 lacrosse team.
How soon will I know if I made the team? How long do I have to respond?
Our goal is to have invites complete by the end of September. We wiil ask that you register within 48 hours of receiving your invite to reserve your spot. Its okay that you accept an invite beyond the 48 hour window but there is a risk that you will lose your spot to another player.
